Innovating for Today, Building for Tomorrow

Who we are?

The Calabar robotics club is a club that aims at teaching and spreading Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics with the use of robotics. We aim at creating an environment for Innovation, Quality Robotics, and a Tech Culture at Calabar.

The Red Spring Challenge

The Red Spring Robotics Challenge introduced in 2018 is a competition that focuses on challenging students with real-world problems using robotics. This competition currently uses the vex IQ robot and involves over 5 local schools that participate. This robotics competition is made for students from grades 7 to 13. The vision is to create a global competition that helps students to tackle real-world problems in STEM using robotics.

Competitions we enter

The club currently participates in three major competitions. Two of these competitions are the first tech challenge and the World Robot Olympiad. These competitions are used to help cultivate a creative and innovative mind throughout all the grades at the school. Check our competition pages to see what we are doing.
